Do I need a WiFi connection to set up and use my V1 doorbell?

To install and use the V1 doorbell, you need an existing home WiFi network as well as a smartphone or tablet with the FinexHome app installed.
With the FinexHome app, you can control all functions of your V1 doorbell.
The V1 doorbell works perfectly on 2.4 GHz networks.
The doorbell connects to your WiFi network and uses the FinexHome app to notify you when someone is near your door or within range of your video doorbell.
You can then view an HD video stream of that person and communicate with them via two-way audio.
