My doorbell doesn't scan the QR code

1. Place your phone on a flat surface

  • Make sure the QR code is clearly visible on your phone screen

  • Increase your screen brightness so the doorbell can read the QR code more easily

  • Ensure the lens of the doorbell is clean

  • Move the doorbell slowly at varying distances over the QR code

2. Connect using Dual Band

  • Reinstall the doorbell in the Smartlife app

  • Go to ‘Camera & Lock’ and select ‘Smart Doorbell (Dual Band)’ instead of ‘Smart Doorbell’ to avoid connection issues
