I’m not receiving notifications in the app

Enable notifications in the Smartlife app
To receive alerts from your Finex Doorbell V1, please check the following:

  • Make sure your phone is not in silent mode or Do Not Disturb mode.

  • Ensure that the Smartlife app is allowed to send notifications on your phone.

  • Verify that notifications are enabled within the Smartlife app.

We’ll go through these settings one by one.


Authorize the Smartlife app to push notifications
Go to your phone’s general settings. You should find a category such as “Apps & Notifications” (the wording may vary by phone model).
If you're unsure, search online for instructions specific to your device on how to adjust app permissions.


Adjust notification settings
Make sure all notification types for the Smartlife app are enabled.


Settings inside the Smartlife app
The Smartlife app also lets you manage which devices send which notifications.

  • On the home screen, tap ‘Account’ in the bottom right corner.

  • Then tap the gear icon in the top right corner to access Account Settings.

Account Settings include:

  • Device Notifications: Alerts sent by your Finex devices (e.g. “Someone rang the doorbell” or “Motion detected”).

  • Do Not Disturb Period: Set a time window (e.g. at night) when no notifications will be sent.

  • System Notifications: General alerts from the Smartlife app.

  • Family: Notifications about people joining or leaving your Smartlife family.


Device-specific settings
Tap your Finex Doorbell on the home screen, then tap the three-dot icon (top right) to open its settings.
Here you can adjust how frequently notifications are sent—for example, by changing the motion detection sensitivity.
