Unable to add a second device

To add a new user to the same video doorbell in the Tuya Smart or Smartlife App, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app: Make sure you open the app on your smartphone or tablet and are logged in to your account.

  2. Navigate to the device: Find the device you want to share with another user in the list of connected devices.

  3. Open the device settings: Tap on the correct device to view its details and settings.

  4. Look for sharing options: In the device settings, look for an option like "Share" or "Manage Users". This is usually found in the menu (often represented by three dots).

  5. Add a new user: Select the option to add a new user. You will be prompted to enter the new user’s email addressor phone number.

  6. Send the invitation: Once you’ve entered the required information, send the invitation—this can be done via email or SMS.

  7. New user accepts the invitation: The invited person will receive a request to access the shared device. They must accept and create a new account if they don't already have one.

  8. Install the app (if needed): If the new user hasn't installed the app yet, they should do so from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

  9. Access to the shared device: Once they’ve accepted the invitation and logged in, they’ll have access to the shared video doorbell.
